- The mum-of-one, 24, made Instagram her food diary to inspire others
An obese mother who was barely able to walk due to her size has documented her dramatic weight loss on Instagram to inspire others facing the same battle.
Ashleigh Munn, 24, of Greenock, Scotland, became reliant on crutches to get about because her hips and pelvis couldn’t handle the weight of her 16 stone frame.
When a further health scare saw doctors discover a cyst the size of a melon on one of her ovaries, she was finally spurred into action through fear her weight had contributed to the condition.
She had ballooned to 16 stone and a size 18 before a health scare spurred her into action and she started a healthy lifestyle regime
Having battled with her size all her life, she then became vegetarian and took up yoga to shed five-and-a-half stone – she is now virtually half the size and has gone from a size 18 a slender size 8.
She hopes that by using Instagram to show her weight loss journey it would inspire others.
